Hello,

I have a lot of information that I wish I could share with you, but in an attempt to maintain anonymity, I will keep personal or valuable information to myself.

My name is Warden, and I have barely begun my journey into Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. I currently attend a college of my choice and attempt to absorb information like a sponge. This field is increasingly difficult and ever-changing. That is what makes it so much fun to me. It's such a rush and I've barely even begun.

Why do I want to do this line of work? -----

My identity was stolen in 2023 - right before Christmas. The hacker pretended to be me, called several cell phone providers and got my number ported to another provider. I then started to notice my accounts were getting logged into.

He only wanted my phone number for 2-factor authentication.

My goal as an ethical hacker and cyber security enthusiast is to try my best to prevent this type of nonsense from happening to someone else. I wanted so bad to end my life after this happened. My identity, all my pictures, all my accounts, social security number; all gone. It was the most stressful time in my life. It was the one moment I thought I lost everything.

Take it from someone who has experience with this - it's not the end. Immediately file a police report. Do not download or click on anything from a website you do not trust. Look at the way people message and communicate. If someone seems off, make sure it's really them. I know it sounds paranoid and you shouldn't have to think that way, but that's the reality we live in today. We live in a world where your entire life is already on the internet. The least you can do, for yourself, is protect it as much as possible.
